What “general plumbing” really means — and when it’s the right call

General plumbing is the right heading when you don’t have a single named problem: a leak you can’t place, a handful of small jobs to do in one visit, a new flat you want checked over, or a fault that needs diagnosing before anyone can say which trade it is. A good generalist’s real value is two things — fixing the small stuff efficiently, and routing the big stuff correctly so you don’t pay the wrong specialist.
