Backflow — the bit that matters on installs. Backflow protection depends on the actual outlet, hose reach, use and downstream fluid category. A standard fixed tap can use the required air-gap arrangement. For a pull-out spray, verify the approved product’s installation conditions and provide risk-appropriate protection where the hose can compromise the tap gap.
